As Weston’s First Selectwoman, Sam has:

• Brought home over $36 million in grant funds for municipal projects

• Improved facilities for Weston’s Police Officers, paving the way for hiring the first female officer in over a decade.

• Planned and undertook the largest road improvement and paving project in Weston’s history.

• Led successful efforts to rezone the “four corners” area in the center of Weston, allowing for greater housing density and limited commercial development.

• Improved safety for drivers and pedestrians by leading the way on sidewalk projects, safer crossings and turning lanes at School Road.

• Improved amenities for town residents by building public pickleball courts and completing the long delayed Weston Dog Park.

• Oversaw multiple budget cycles with minimal mill rate increases lower than the rate of inflation, without compromising town services.
