I enter this race as something rare: a candidate who has sat on the receiving end of state policy and knows what works and what doesn’t. As a three-term First Selectwoman of Weston with nine years of public service experience, I have seen firsthand how decisions made at the state level shape the ability of towns to address real challenges like rising healthcare and energy costs, infrastructure needs, and gaps in social safety nets such as SNAP benefits.

I believe that while local leaders often manage the immediate impact of these issues, meaningful solutions require action in the legislature. By combining my experience setting policy and running a town’s day-to-day operations, I hope to advocate for practical, fiscally responsible policies that support municipalities and improve residents’ lives across the district.
